Admission to Class First Year(HSSC-I):

New admissions in the college shall be given on basis of seats available in each group/subject strictly on merit.

Admissions shall be open only once in an academic session, for which college administration will announce the dates. No admission will be given after expiry of given date.

The admission will be granted provisionally before declaration of SSC-II result to overcome shortage of teaching days due to long winter vacations.

The allocation of seats in each group is as follows.

Merit will be calculated on basis of score in the admission test. In case of admissions after declaration of SSC result, merit will be calculated by giving 50% weightage to admission test score and 50% weightage to marks obtained in SSC-I or SSC-II (whichever case may be).

Candidates obtaining at least 55% marks in SSC exam or admission test are eligible for admission in Science groups (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Science General).

· The admission of candidates who secure less than 55% marks in SSC examination after declaration of result will be cancelled in science groups and admission will be offered to them in humanities groups.

The admission of candidates who are admitted provisionally before declaration of result of annual examination and fail or get less than prescribed marks in SSC examination, shall be cancelled/ withdrawn and any funds collected shall be returned.

Candidates passing SSC Examination in Annual Examination 2020 or after are eligible to apply for admission. However 10 marks will be deducted from obtained marks of candidates passing SSC-II in annual examination 2020 for calculation of merit.

Maximum age limit for admission in class 1 year is 19 years. Candidates being more than 19 years on closing date of admission form submission will not be eligible for admission.

The criteria for admission in BS programs are in accordance with the rules and regulations of the affiliating university and Higher
Education Commission (HEC).

The number of seats in each BS section is 30 which may be enhanced up to 40 with the permission of affiliating university.

Candidates having obtained at least 45 % marks in HSSC are eligible for applying for admission to BS program.

The admissions will be on open merit basis in BS 4-year program in accordance of HEC policy.prescribed by the affiliating University.
Admission to Associate Degree Program:

Admission to Associate Degree Program (2 year) will be granted only after permission from afliating university and HEC.

The admission will be open only once after declaration of result of HSSC-II annual examination 2021.

The total number of seats available for Associate Degree in Arts (ADA) Program is 200. No admissions will be granted in any group of Associate Degree in Science (ADS) Program.

A student who passes HSSC examination with at least 45 % marks shall be eligible for applying to admission in Associate Degree program.
Admission to HSSC II Program

The students who pass at least 04 (Four) subjects in science groups and 03 (Three) subject in humanities groups, out of prescribed 06 (Six) subjects in HSSC-I examination shall be promoted to/ admitted in class 2 year (HSSC-II).

The students who cannot be promoted to/admitted in class 2 year may be re-admitted in HSSC-I, if seats are available in the respective group, subject to cancellation of previous result from respective board of examination. The cancellation of result shall be responsibility of the concerned student.

The total number of seats available for Associate Degree in Arts (ADA) Program is 200. No admissions will be granted in any group of Associate Degree in Science (ADS) Program.

A student who passes HSSC examination with at least 45 % marks shall be eligible for applying to admission in Associate Degree program.
Promotion to Next Class/Semester in AD and BS Programs
