Department of Urdu

The Department of Urdu is as old as the history of the Govt. College Skardu. Besides Inter and ADA classes, Urdu Department has initiated BS Four years program in 2020, which is affliated with KIU.Urdu Department has been playing a remarkable role since the beginning .As for literary and intellectual activities are concerned, the Department has ever been very active. It has Debating’s society as well as a dramatic society. Many famous plays have been performed by the students under the directions of the Dramatic society. Debating society works efficiently to organize speeches, debate and Declamation contest, on regular basis.

Mr. Musa kaleem (Assistant Professor) HoD

Biography:

Musa kaleem did his master in Urdu Literture from Punjab university in 1992 and joined Education Dept. G-B in 1986 as TGT. Later, he left to join AkESP as accademic coordinator where he served for four years. In 1998, he qualified the test and interview of FPSc for the post of Lecturer and joined the college cader of edu. Dept. GB. Currently, he is serving as Assistanat Prof./ HoD Urdu Dept./Vice Principal in Govemnet College skardu. He has vast experience of teaching.His contribution to Edu. Dept. G-B is paraiseworthy.
